Enjoy a Lark in the Park

The day will run from 1.00pm to 5.00pm and entertainment will include a sheepdog and duck display, musical performances, puppet shows and clowns.

Free activities available on the day include a climbing wall, air ball shooters, children's roundabouts and donkey rides.

The Uttoxeter Lions will also be holding one of their famous Duck Races in the brook during the event.

Dave Allen, President of the Uttoxeter Lions, said: "We are hoping for even bigger crowds this year as, with the help of East Staffordshire Borough Council, we have been able to book some exciting arena attractions and entertainment.

"There is also the chance for local organisations to benefit from what should be an enjoyable family day out by bringing their own fund-raising ideas to the Lark in the Park."

Councillor Bernard Peters, Deputy Leader for Health and Leisure, added: "This is a wonderful example of our community groups working with the Borough Council to provide a superb day of activities and fun for all the family. The Uttoxeter Lions have organised an exciting event so take a break and come along to enjoy the day."

Stalls are available for groups wanting to raise money for different charities.

For more information or to book a stall, please call Vin Bradley of the Uttoxeter Lions on 01889 563078 or call the Uttoxeter Lions on 0845 839503.

Refreshments will be available throughout the event and free parking is also available.
