25th Sept 2008 7:30 pm
Venue

Since the fall of communism there have been many improvements in Albanian society, including the educational system. However, there are still many children living in State Orphanages who do not have the same opportunities as other students. Steph and Dave Bendell spent several years working in such an orphanage in Saranda, southern Albania and all proceeds from this evening will go towards the educational needs of the orphanage.

This concert will feature local duo, 'The Gatecrashers'. Steph Bendall and Lydia Dakin will be singing together for the first time and there is guest speaker, Ben Delija who works with the homeless in Burton and is Albanian.

The MC is local magician Paul Brown (Magical Mayhem) and there will be an up to date audio-visual presentation of the children from the Orphanage. Please come and join us for this entertaining and inspiring evening, it will be great fun. Admission: £5.00 (£3.50 concessions). Telephone 01283 508100.
