Burton Local News, and all its "neighbours" respectfully request that you consider other "neighbours"' rights and that you do not use the blog discussion platforms or other editorial opportunities to abuse in any way other "neighbours", families, groups or organisation that may use this portal.
This site is for the use of its registered "neighbours" and must not be used for any illegal activities. You may not use this site to threaten, harass, stalk or abuse others. Please refrain from expressions of bigotry, racism, hatred or obscenity. Burton Local News reserves the right to restrict users who violate this site's code of conduct.
Any material that contravenes any law of the land, trading standards laws, or advertising standards codes will be dealt with immediately, once it comes to the attention of Burton Local News' Management. Where appropriate, the relevant authorities will be notified and the ISP address and contact details of any offender handed over, so that the authorities can take appropriate action.
Do not, at any time, attempt to post any material to the portal (including software or any other malicious material) that will harm the Local News portal, its software or hardware, or the computers of any "neighbour", or which would allow illegal access to or by third party computers.
Please do not post or submit any messages that may contain photographs, software, or any other material that is protected by intellectual property laws, rights of privacy or publicity or any other applicable laws, unless of course you own or have control of said rights or have received the official and necessary consents. Burton Local News takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party. If you are experiencing any issues arising from other "neighbours" activity then please report this to Management of Burton Local News.
