Students Hold End of Year Caberet
The End of Year Cabaret, which was performed at the Belvedere Park Club, involved approximately 150 students from a range of Performing Arts, Dance and Music Technology courses. Both evenings were different with students performing a variety of dance, music, singing, musical theatre and drama pieces.
Commenting on the event, Curriculum Area Leader for Performing Arts Amanda Skevington said, "This was a great opportunity to see the innovative and diverse range of dance, drama and music work that our students undertake. Over the last year everyone has trained very hard to really polish their creative talents through a series of performances and work opportunities gained with professional companies including an appearance at the Royal Albert Hall and countless performances at the Brewhouse in Burton. Our students are now used to performing in a theatre setting to a very high standard and the End of Year Cabaret provided a real chance for the students to showcase their talent, creativity and professionalism."
