Dancing into Summer
Thanks to a successful play grant application to East Staffordshire Borough Council, Danceworks is holding their annual summer school this year at the Town Hall during the first week of the summer holidays.
Now in its 7th year, the subsidised summer school will be held from Tuesday July 22nd to Friday July 25that a cost of £35 per child, or £60 for 2 siblings.
The day starts at 9.30am with all children to be collected by 4.00pm.
The four days will be jam packed with fun dance routines for children to learn. This year the Dance Summer School will be open to all children between 6 - 16 years.
No previous experience is necessary; enthusiasm is all that is required.
Danceworks is a non-profit making organisation of local dance teachers.
Sara Turner-Sutton Chair of Danceworks said: "The Summer School is an excellent opportunity for local children to develop their movement skills. It's a great way of meeting new friends and learning from professionals, and of course a fun way to get fit and stay healthy.
Places are limited so if you are interested in the Summer School and would like further information or an application form then please contact Sport East Staffs on 01283 505916.
