Christmas Lights Lottery
Town Centre Manager, Paul Howard explained "the funding received from East Staffordshire Borough Council means we will be in a position to provide a brand new lighting display for 2009 for the core town centre area. There are a number of key gateways and secondary retail areas which really need our support as well. This lottery is one of the ways we are raising the funds to do just that. As part of our agreement, we have taken delivery of the majority of the old festive decorations which can still be put to good use put it means paying for such things as testing, maintenance and installation. I am hopeful the lottery will prove successful as it means residents and visitors to the town centre can really play a part in how the town centre looks at this important time of year.
Applications forms are available to collect from the Market Hall, leaflet dispensers in Coopers Square and the Octagon or can be downloaded from www.burtontowncentre.co.uk
