Wheelie Good Fun for Two-Day Event

The skate park will be set up at the Horninglow Community Park (off St Luke's Road) on Tuesday, August 19th from 11.00am to 3.00pm before moving to Newton Road Park in Winshill from 11.00am to 3.00pm on Wednesday, August 20th.

Users can bring their own skateboards, bikes and helmets if they have them but if not we can provide a skateboard or bike and make sure that you have a helmet.

The skate park is free to use but anyone under 16-years-old will need a signed parent consent form. These can be downloaded from the East Staffordshire Borough Council website at www.eaststaffsbc.gov.uk from the Parks & Countryside page, and will also be available on the day.

Anyone under nine-years-old using the skate park needs to be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.

The skate park, which has been funded by the areas' councillors from their Ward Action Service Plan funds, comes with its own expert skaters and BMX-ers who are happy to show visitors some tricks and give out some tips.
