East Staffordshire Borough Council has teamed up with Burton Athletics Club, to organise the annual Uttoxeter Cross Country races and Fun run on Sunday, September 14th, sponsored by Bourne Sports, Stoke on Trent.
The event is run around the scenic Bramshall Park in Uttoxeter and usually attracts around 1000 runners.
There are 13 races across the age groups, from the starting age of nine-years, and races start at 12.00pm.
For those interested in something at a gentler pace there is the charity Family Fun Run at a distance of 1.5 miles that starts at 2.30pm.
The Family Fun Run course goes around the park and the excitement is provided as the runners cross the Picknall Brook. Entry is £1.50 for children and £2.50 for adults.
There are certificates and goody bags for all finishers in the fun run.
