Burton's Favourite Business:
In our July issue you will again be able to read about a significant number of local retailers and businesses many are featured in our Burton's Favourite Business promotion.
These are solid local independent businesses that have served the community well. They rightly pride themselves on a level of customer service, value for money and quality which is often far superior to that of any national chain.
The days of being 'suckered' by eye catching 70% discounts are gone. We have now all come to recognise that ultimately it is the final cost that is the real figure that matters and not the hype of a mega discount which is often pure salesmanship.
Would you like £50 to spend:
You can in fact nominate your favourite retailer or business and give yourself the chance to win £50 each month for the next three months. All you have to do is email or write naming the business you feel has provided you with the best service, value, or similar. One submission each month will be drawn out and that reader will receive£50 to spend at the business they nominated. As a result of June's feature Wendy Ordish has £50 to spend at her nominated retailer Carpet City. It could be you this month.
Remember you have to be in it to win it!
Reader Competitions:
The same applies to all of our great Reader Competition prizes which are available this month.
How about a wonderful Kids Fun Day at Swadlincote Ski Centre?
A midweek break at Hoarcross Hall
Membership of TVs Create and Craft
Family Tickets to Barton Gate Steam Rally
And of course £50 a your nominated LOCAL favourite business.
All our competitions are FREE to enter. So many of our winners end up telling us 'they never win anything' so maybe this month it could be your turn to become a winner.
